Mr. Bockelmann
has 24+ years of experience including 9
years conducting oil and gas exploration
and production activities, 4 years with
the Mississippi Department of Environmental
Quality, and 11+ years as an environmental
consultant with two major architectural-engineering
firms. Mr. Bockelmann joined ALL-LLC in
April of 2001. He has a Bachelor of Science
Degree in Geology from the University of
Missouri and a Masters of Science in Engineering
Science/Geological Engineering from the
University of Mississippi. He has managed
multiple project programs for the Environmental
Protection Agency (USEPA) and for the U.S.
Army Corp of Engineers (USACE). Mr. Bockelmann
has considerable experience in the areas
of groundwater studies/remediations and
regulatory compliance and was formerly the
Chief of the Hazardous Waste Hydrogeology
Branch for the Mississippi Department of
Environmental Quality.
Mr. Bockelmann's experience
covers oil and gas exploration and production,
environmental compliance, and the management
of both large and small environmental programs
and projects. He has managed two Hazardous,
Toxicological, and Radioactive Waste contracts
for the USACE - Tulsa District worth $18M
and $24M, a $68M Alternative Remedial Contracting
Strategy Program for the USEPA in Regions
VI, VII, and VIII, and numerous projects
for private and industrial clients. He has
managed upward of $7M worth of environmental
projects in a year and has worked on projects
in over a dozen states covering such activities
as Remedial Investigations/Feasibility Studies,
Human Health and Ecological Risk Assessments,
Preliminary Assessments/Site Investigations,
Environmental Baseline Surveys, Treatability
Studies, Groundwater Models and Studies,
Remedial Design, and Remedial Action. Site
contaminants that Mr. Bockelmann has experience
in evaluating include solvents and other
volatile organic compounds, semivolatile
organic compounds, heavy metals, PCBs, dioxins,
explosive compounds that include TNT, RDX,
HMX, PETN, and ammonium perchlorate, and
oilfield wastes.
Mr. Bockelmann manages the
St. Louis Area office of ALL-LLC. He is
a Registered Professional Geologist and
is active in professional societies such
as the Society of American Military Engineers
where he is a Board Member for the Tulsa
Post.
