Dave
Cornue, P.G.
Senior Geologist
Mr. Cornue is a degreed geologist
(BA - University of Maine; MS - SUNY at
Stony Brook; coursework towards PhD. - University
of Texas at Austin) with 26 years professional
experience. He is a licensed professional
geologist in the states of Illinois, Indiana,
Texas, and Wyoming (pending), a registered
professional geologist in Missouri, and
also a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager.
Mr. Cornue has more than 17
years experience in environmental consulting
with a focus on industrial and petroleum
site assessment and remediation. His project
experience includes specific expertise in
risk-based corrective action remediation
and site closure. He has conducted assessments
and remediation of soil and groundwater
impacted with chlorinated and non-chlorinated
VOC, SVOC, metals, MGP tar, creosote, crude
oil, and light through heavy petroleum fuels.
Prior to joining ALL Consulting, he was
a Senior Project Manager at other regional
and national environmental firms, where
he was responsible for the management and
execution of environmental projects with
industrial, municipal, utility, and land
development clients in numerous states.
These projects included Phase I/II/III site
assessments, environmental monitoring, evaluation
of remedial options, remediation, risk assessments,
risk-based regulatory closure, and litigation
support. He has worked on projects at numerous
industrial and manufacturing sites (including
chemical, electronics, metal fabrication,
plastics), chemical/petroleum bulk storage
facilities, landfills, manufactured gas
plants (MGP), railroads, and sludge lagoons.
One of his Brownfields projects was awarded
USEPA's prestigious Phoenix Award. He has
managed remediation projects with budgets
up to $2.6 million.
Mr. Cornue was an exploration
geologist with a major oil company for nine
years working on development and wildcat
prospects, tertiary enhanced oil recovery
(EOR) projects, and a multi-disciplinary
basin analysis study.
More recently, Mr. Cornue
has been actively supporting major oil-field
acquisitions including due diligence assessment
and landfill permitting. He has also worked
on a variety of coal-bed natural gas projects
including the first permit for produced
water disposal via injection in Montana
and the development of government funded
guidance documents for the industry.
