Dr. Bruce Langhus: Dr. Langhus is currently involved in several projects related to the oil & gas industry. He is extensively involved in advancing the use of downhole oil/water separators for use in the upstream petroleum industry.

Dr. Langhus is an expert in the field of in-situ soil and groundwater remediation using phyto-remediation technologies and microbial treatments. He has used soil data and hydrogeological data to site and permit reserve pits, and gas land-farms, and commercial disposal pits. As a petroleum geologist and environmental regulatory specialist, Dr. Langhus has provided geological and regulatory support for hundreds of Class II (Oil and Gas) disposal and injection projects. He has also provided geological and regulatory support toward permitting dozens of Class I injection system projects. He has analyzed and sited many disposal wells to exploit local geological reservoirs for the disposal of produced water and drilling wastes. He is experienced with analysis of various reservoir evaluation tools to select capable disposal zones having suitable injectivity characteristics and fluid compatibilities. Dr. Langhus is also an expert in produced water management practices and NEPA analysis, especially in the area of coal bed natural gas.
