Senior Ecologist/Environmental
Scientist
Mr. Alleman has more than
twenty years experience in a broad range
of oil and gas environmental issues. Extensive
experience interfacing with government agencies,
industry and public interest groups to shape
environmental policy, regulations, and enforcement.
Areas of expertise include: oil & gas
environmental issues; ES&H compliance
management; research planning and management
for all aspects of oil and gas E&P;
strategic planning; consensus/coalition
building; project management; site remediation/closure;
NEPA document preparation; public outreach;
developing and conducting studies; preparing
reports; contract management; operations
management; and personnel management/supervision.
Mr. Alleman comes to ALL from the Department
of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory
where he served as a senior project manager
and team leader for unconventional fuels.
He was responsible for background research
and interface with industry, government
and public stakeholders to determin highest
priority research needs. In that capacity
he worked closely with industry, EPA, BLM,
the State of Colorado and the State of Utah
to identify concerns and develop technology
and policy solutions for those concerns.
He is a member of the Gas
Research Institute Environmental Technical
Advisory Group; Appointed to the Interstate
Oil and Gas Compact Commission (IOGCC) Environmental
Committee; Project Manager Certification
trough the Project Management Institute
since 2003; and is a Board Member for the
Ground Water Protection Research Foundation.
